Choclo

Stay for drinks/dinner

Choclo is home to the South American cuisine providing guests with a welcoming atmosphere, flown in from Mexico. We paid a lot of attention and detail to the interior layout design reflecting Tulum’s liveliness. We applied rough materials such as a brutish brick completed with a rough method of painting. The reed in the room represents a characteristic product used both in Mexico and Flanders, while cacti will evoke fantasies of a holiday in the Mexican sun!

The eye-catcher of Choclo? Definitely the bar! It is entirely made of bricks as a reference to the unfinished architecture of the edgy favelas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is low-key and intimate, it’s all about having a good time. We’ve amplified this by extensively using indirect lighting replenished by carefully placed table lamps. Choclo, like Tulum itself, is bound to become the Mecca for foodies.
