Stay to shop
RoeselareWith this shop, the customer wanted to take a different, less classic route, in addition to their traditional shoe shop. The existing store couldn’t compete with fresher, newer stores that have fully embraced the sneaker trend that has been going on for several years now. Hence his request to design a store that appealed to a younger audience, but at the same time is also nice and detailed to make the more classic customer buy sneakers as well. As a starting point, we opted for a brutally chic interior, where everyone can feel good about.
By combining bare concrete ceilings with green marble, we create a tension that can be felt everywhere in the store. A red copper balustrade filled in with industrial expanded metal, concrete panels against the wall together with fine upholstery and mortex plinths. The space is divided by a tunnel finished with a faux-marble technique. The biggest challenge in this project was the execution time, which was very short (8 weeks including demolition). The project was finished a few days before the deadline by working together with good partners.

This concept design for a large multinational should become the new design language they will use in all their stores within the Benelux.

Stay to shop
We wanted to frame the products of this outdoor shop as naturally as possible. As it concerns outdoor furniture it seemed logical to us to build the concept of the shop around outdoor atmospheres.
